So how exactly does Historic Ashland provide an stress-free wedding planning experience?
We have 2 Dedicated Day of Coordinators: Amanda & Kirsten
Each of couples is assigned to one of our dedicated wedding coordinators who are present day of the wedding for 13 hours; the DOC manages the entire set-up, execution & tear-down of your wedding. This means: NO SETTING UP OR TEARING DOWN FOR YOU OR YOUR FAMILY! You will be provided with your assigned wedding coordinator at the time of booking and you will be able to chat with them anytime for questions, planning or just to talk through details. Amanda and Kristen will also aid in timeline creation, vendor communication, ceremony execution and event management. Full-service wedding planning packages are available for Historic Ashland couples that need a more hands-on, detailed approach to wedding planning!
Note: The DOC is the only separate fee to the Venue- $1,600.



Planning Resources and Couple-Only Open Houses
Once a couple reserves their wedding date at our Pennsylvania wedding venue, the coordinators will provide the couple with a Planning Kit including: sample timelines, vendor recommendations, furniture inventory, and other relevant information for planning your dream wedding at Ashland. In addition to our planning guide, Ashland has a private Facebook group for all of our couples where we host Live Q&A’s, post tips + tricks, advice and include sample wedding reception layouts. Couples can also post to the group to get real information and feedback from past Ashland couples about anything. Also, we host 2 Open Tour days for Ashland couples only which include food, music and a fun afternoon/evening at the Venue to show friends and family or get questions answered! It’s a great way to get couples back to the Venue before their wedding. We host one in the Spring and one in the Fall: the idea is that couples’ will get to see Ashland again closer to their wedding season.



Final Walk-Through Meeting
Every one of Historic Ashland’s couples will be invited back to our wedding venue for a final meeting about 4 to 6 weeks from the wedding date. At this meeting, the couple and day-of coordinator will go over every single detail leading up to the wedding day to ensure the wedding day is as stress-free and memorable as possible. What type of information will be covered at this wedding planning meeting? Timelines, Processional Order, Vendors, Decor, and overall Logistics, to name a few topics! The Venue team will cover a packet of information to ensure no detail is missed and each couple is feeling confident going into the wedding!
