An Affordable, Destination Winter Wedding

Shayne and Oliver traveled from Townson, Maryland for their destination wedding at our Pennsylvania wedding venue January 7, 2023. The two wed indoors in our Upper Level ceremony location in front of our fireplace for ultimate coziness, ambiance, and lots of natural light. Their 100 wedding guests were then escorted downstairs to our heated Lower level for a cocktail hour, and then danced the night away upstairs in the Lodge. This winter wedding has certainly changed my mind on January weddings! Why we love January and Winter weddings!:

“We had our wedding day at Historic Ashland and absolutely loved it. Leah and Amanda made sure the day of went perfectly but we’re also there for every question we had along the way. You can tell Leah truly cares about the couples having the day they want. We got ready in the bridal suite in site. We had 7 people and 4 vendors at once in the suite. So it’s big! There was so much space! The groom’s suite was also nice for the guys to be tucked into. They were able to get ready and not run the risk of seeing us. One of our guests mentioned her son got married there in the summer 2021 and we got married in January 2023. She said that it looked like two completely different venues. The versatility of this venue is amazing. With the three spaces to choose from for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, you can really use this venue to build your wedding dream. Things ran so smoothly with the day of coordinator, Amanda, directing everyone and making sure that we were left to just enjoy the day. I seriously cannot appreciate the HA team enough for helping us have a perfect day! I couldn’t recommend a better venue!!”
